The fleet of eleven 70-foot yachts will have battled an awe inspiring 40,000 nautical miles and six ocean crossings before arriving in the heart of
Derry-Londonderry.
Whether they arrive in the middle of the night to disembark in time for traditional fry-up breakfast, or in the late afternoon ready for a festival vibes, you can experience the atmosphere as Race Crew step back on land after a thrilling race across the world’s most furious oceans.

Race Crew with their Skippers will gather on their yachts ahead of a dockside briefing and ceremony, at Foyle Marina.
The eleven yachts will slip lines. Each team receives an emotional farewell as they wave final farewell and throw off their lines - next stop London.
SUNDAY 24 JUNE
PARADE OF SAIL
1400-1430 // PARADE OF SAIL
Watch the Clipper Race fleet parade down Lough Foyle as the teams depart land for the final time until they complete their record breaking race around the world. With the overall race victory still open public support will be greatly welcomed.
1800 - RACE START
Out to Greencastle, the fleet will perform a Le Mans start heading north to pick up the race rhumb line, for a fast sprint to London, UK.

PARADE OF SAIL FIREWORKS
"Voyages" will unfold as the day fades into the night and the riverfront takes on a new appearance through a series of lighting, animation, pyrotechnics and special effects. Watch the Clipper Race fleet in full illumination parade down Lough Foyle under glow of a spectacular fireworks display.
